Invisalign is a new age technology for fast and efficient moving of teeth in case of gaps between teeth, crooked teeth, crowding. Unlike the traditional metal track braces, Invisalign is a set of clear plastic aligners, designed to fit your teeth precisely and to gradually move your teeth in a straight position. It is a system that does three-dimensional modeling for the fabrication of a series of clear aligners, called "clear braces". They are extremely thin – less than a millimeter – and removable, making them very discrete to wear.

How they work

Once you have your aligners designed you need to wear them at least 20 hours a day (preferably 22). Note that you should remove them during your meals and when you brush your teeth. They need to be changed in about two weeks. The progress is gradual and must be checked by your dentist regularly. The whole treatment usually lasts from 6 to 18 months.

Advantages of the Invisalign

The Invisalign technology does not use brackets or wires - usually uncomfortable and even painful as metal may lead to irritation and inflammation of the gums and the soft tissue.
The fact that the Invisalign aligners should be removed during meals is highly beneficial since you will not have food trapped between wires and elastic bands as it is with traditional braces. This also eases the maintenance of a good oral hygiene.
In addition to convenience, Invisalign aligners are much more aesthetic in appearance.
Invisalign aligners are designed to suit your teeth exactly and to exert the necessary pressure on your teeth. They don't need constant tightening and screwing every few weeks as conventional braces do, which lowers down the number of the visits to the dentist you need to make.

Clear Correct

Clear Correct is a system of removable clear aligners - to treat mild orthodontic problems. It is perfectly applied in case of orthodontic relapse, minor tooth movement or small gaps. With ClearCorrect, your dentist or orthodontist can straighten your teeth using a series of clear, custom, removable aligners. Each aligner moves your teeth just a little bit at a time until you eventually get straight teeth. ClearCorrect uses your records to create exact 3D models of your teeth. Once completed, you and your doctor will be able to preview the projected results of your treatment in your "treatment set-up," a computer representation of your teeth before and after treatment. Aligner by aligner, you'll be able to see the difference as your teeth slowly adjust and align to your target smile. You'll visit your doctor periodically for checkups to see how you're progressing until you eventually have the straight smile you've always wanted.
